Q: How long does it take you to locate someone?
A: Usually 3-5 business days after we receive your search request we will respond with your results. If you submit your search on a weekend connected to a Holiday, please allow us a few extra days. We have kids too and like you, want to have our family time!
Q: How do I know you will find the correct person?
A: our databases are updated on a weekly basis. The information we have access to is only available to Licensed Investigator’s and Law Enforcement. We cross-reference our database’s to insure we have located the exact individual.
Q: What if the address Deadbeat Dad Finders provides me is an old address?
A: We have a 94% success rate in locating current addresses. IF the subject has recentlymoved, provide us with documentation and we will continue our search, or give a FULL REFUND.
Q: What if I can’t provide a Social Security Number?
A: It’s always best to provide as much information as possible, but many times we can locate someone with a full name, DOB, prior addresses or spouse/mate inforamtion.
Q: Is the person being searched for notified?
A: NO, absolutely not! All information is kept strictly confidential between you, the client, and Deadbeat Dad/Mom Finders.
Q: How do I know this isn’t a “scam”?
A: We are licensed in our state, and have statutes we MUST obey or lose our license. Deadbeat Dad/Mom Finders is based on the “honor system”. We are a reputable business, and pride ourselves on customer satisfaction.
Q: What do I do after you’ve located my deadbeat?
A: If yours is a state case, take the information down to the local District Attorney’s office or child support enforcement agency that is handling your case. We don’t recommend calling them. In person is always the most direct approach! Don’t be afraid to ask questions such as, “WHEN are you going to serve him/her”?
Q: Can you help with overseas cases?
A: Yes, most of the time. We have a very large network of colleagues all over the world.
Q: My deadbeat is in the Military. Can you help?
A: Of course! We have access to Military records, and have worked closely with Military personnel in prior cases.
Q: Can you help me to collect child support?
A: That is not a service we are equiped to do at this time. We hope to bring that serice onboard in the future.
Q: What if I know where my deadbeat is and I just don’t know what to do to collect?
A: Email us and ask! We receive MANY emails daily from custodial parents, adult children, and others just wanting information. We’re happy to answer any questions you may have. Please be patieint in waiting for our repsonse. All time is donated and we do the best we can!
Q: Can you answer legal questions?
A: We are not Attorney’s. We cannot offer legal advice, but will be happy to send you links to the laws in your own state. We suggest you contact an Attorney, a paralegal  or Legal Aid for assistance in preparing legal documents to be filed if you are inexperienced in this area.
